| Biography |
Angela Clarke is a Gunditjmara Woman, whose spirit country and traditional homeland is the Western District of Victoria.
Angela is Onemda’s Deputy Director (Community Programs) and Lecturer in Community Development. She brings to this position considerable experience in Koori health program development. Her current role has involved work on a variety of projects including evaluating community programs, developing Indigenous content in the social work curriculum, resourcing hospital liaison, investigating prison health and undertaking oral history.
Angela has previously worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital where she still maintains strong links. Angela completed a Master in Public Health in 2004 and has a BA in Community Development. She has served her community as a board member of several Aboriginal organisations including the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service. She is currently a board member of the Koorie Heritage Trust and also sits on the Broadmeadows Koori Court as one of the Elders and Respected Persons.
