| Biography |
Research Fellow Melanie Davern is a registered psychologist with expertise in Subjective Wellbeing, life satisfaction and psychological health. She has been involved in a number of research projects investigating the wellbeing of the Australian population and the concepts that underpin happiness in individuals and communities. Melanie is currently managing a multidisciplinary project that is developing a new questionnaire for measuring Quality of Life in adolescents with cerebral palsy. This follows the successful development of the CP QOL-Child which is a similar measure for children with cerebral palsy. Her other research interests include temperament development, affective theory, questionnaire design, and family conflict.
