| Biography |
Jodie Doyle is coordinator of the Cochrane Health Promotion and Public Health Field. In this role, Jodie facilitates communication between health promotion and public health practitioners and researchers and the international Cochrane Collaboration. She advocates for the interests of health promotion and public health in Cochrane reviews and is especially directed towards enabling wide participation (locally and internationally) in all Cochrane initiatives. This role also involves instigating and engaging in debates about what constitutes evidence in health promotion and the need for diligence in continually improving research methodology to evaluate health promotion and public health intervention effectiveness.
Jodie’s current research interests include; Systematic review methodology, Identifying ways to present research findings to enhance utility in decision making, Priority setting research.
