| Biography |
Prof David Dunt (MBBS, FFPH, PhD) is a public health specialist and medically-trained epidemiologist with major interests in health program evaluation and health services research. His main current interests are in the study of complex health programs, particularly involving primary care and community-based health promotion. Over the years he has evaluated and researched a wide variety of health programs and services in the fields of health promotion, health technology assessment, palliative care and the care of severely intellectually handicapped children. Significant research projects recently carried out under David's supervision have included: the national evaluation of the Commonwealth Government’s national Dementia Initiative; the statewide evaluation of Best Start the Victorian State Government's Early Childhood Development Initiative; and the national evaluation of the After Hours Primary Medical Care Trials. .
