| Biography |
Christine Joy is employed by the Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Tobacco Control. Chris's job role is two-fold: she will be working as both a Researcher and a Project Officer. Christine’s background includes 20 years of experience working within both the Department of Human Services and the Education Department of Victoria in a variety of roles including Residential Care Program Manager, Primary and Secondary Teaching and Special Education. She is currently undertaking a Master of Education at the University of Melbourne. Although she does not have specific experience in tobacco control, her wealth of experience in training and education will be invaluable in developing educational tools and programs. Christine has two young teenager daughters who keep her grounded and well entertained when she is not at work.
