| Biography |
Paul is a Taungurong man from Central Victoria, who has 10 years experience working in Aboriginal Community Organisations. Paul commenced with Onemda at The University of Melbourne in April 2002. Previously, Paul worked with the Aborigines Advancement League and the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service. Paul has a Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion (University of Sydney) and a Master of Public Health (Deakin University).
Paul’s research focuses on health research methodologies and ethics in Aboriginal Communities. Paul has been a Principal Investigator on the following projects: 'Victorian Aboriginal Health Ethics Project', ‘Promoting Ethical Research with Indigenous Communities', and ‘We can like research…in Koori hands’.'
Paul, in collaboration with colleagues at Onemda, developed and delivered the Aboriginal Health stream for the Master of Social Health in the subjects 'Koori Health: Past to Present' and 'Ethical Practice in Aboriginal Health'. Paul also coordinates the subject 'Research Project in Social Health'.
