Anke has worked in Indigenous health research for 12 years, and her first job in Indigenous health research was in the far north-west of South Australia, at the Nganampa Health Council. From there she moved to Melbourne where she worked for five years as a researcher on an injecting drug use project run by the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service.
