Caden Pearson provides executive support to Professor Marcia Langton, Foundation Chair of Australian Indigenous Studies at the University of Melbourne.
Caden has had experience in managing and contributing to online and broadcast media projects, having previously co-produced a China-news podcast and contributed to the production of a nightly world news broadcast at New Tang Dynasty Television.
Caden is a Bama Bagarrmuguwarra from the Jeannie River, Kalpowar and Lakefield National Park area in Cape York, in Far North Queesnland. His paternal grandmother was a Kuku Yalanji woman from the Buruwarra clan (Buru).
