| Biography |
Therese is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health & Society and Research Leader in Social Connection at VicHealth. Therese is also an investigator with the International Collaboration on Complex Interventions (ICCI). She has a Bachelor of Social Science in Socio-Environmental Assessment and Policy (Distinction) (RMIT University, 1991) and a PhD in sociology (RMIT University, 1997). Therese has a track record in population level health intervention research and continues to explore the social processes involved in the adaptation of population level health interventions within local settings (community, school and so on). Therese has been involved in a number of evaluations of interventions designed to improve mental health and has an ongoing interest in the promotion of mental health through social and community based interventions. Therese is currently involved in a range of empirical studies in Australia and Canada.
