Women's Health

The Women’s Health specialisation offers an epidemiology stream for those wanting to develop epidemiological research skills to apply to women’s health, or a social research methods stream, for those wishing to learn qualitative or quantitative social research skills. Students will also develop a sophisticated understanding of gender and the social determinants of health. It provides professional education for graduates who work or intend to work as researchers, clinicians, educators, policy makers or health promotion practitioners in the expanding field of women's health, or who are interested in the ways in which gender affects health risks, status and outcomes.
