What were you doing before you became a student at the Melbourne School of Population Health?

I studied a Master of Public Health in the mid 90's and followed this up by working on public health and health promotion policy in the state government for the last ten years.

What made you apply for your course?
  1. The potential to study across the Melbourne School of Population Health and the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning.
  2. The social and environmental epidemiology expertise within the school and the opportunity to develop my spatial and multi-level analysis skills.
  3. The school's focus on health inequity and the opportunity provided to link social justice and environmental justice research agendas.
What makes the Melbourne School of Population Health a great place to study?

I have only just started my study but have already participated in lots of learning opportunities, within and collateral to my area of interest. I really appreciate the interest in me and enthusiasm for my topic displayed by my supervisors and other researchers across both faculties.

Any advice for new students?

As I am new myself, I wouldn't presume!
