What were you doing before you became a student at the Melbourne School of Population Health?
I was practising as a solicitor in the field of personal injury litigation. I have also previously had roles in court administration and public policy.
What made you apply for your course?
I saw an advertisement in the Age newspaper for a scholarship to support a PhD study in law and health policy. I recognised it as a great opportunity to diversify my skills into the health policy field with a supervisor who is a leader in the area.
What makes the Melbourne School of Population Health a great place to study?
The range of expertise and research being undertaken at the SPH is immense and extraordinarily helpful for students engaged in interdisciplinary study. Additionally, the School has enabled me to undertake coursework study in epidemiology to further my research skills.
